I'm all for getting together the second Friday of every month. Nevertheless on March 10th I can't make it. But I will make April, May, June, etc.

Yeah yeah yeah!!

Wheelalalalalala!

I am so very, very there that in spirit I'm already at the Duke with needles at the ready (plus rings on my fingers and bells on my new socks' toes).

Ummm...the above would translate as: Oh yes, thanks awfully for suggesting it and please do be assured that I will attend.
Cordially Yours,
S

Put me down as a "maybe sometimes"? I'm out of town, but Toronto isn't *that* far, so when the starts align, the gods smile on me and I'm finished work early that day I'll definitely try and be there. :)

I would love to be able to get there and meet you folks - can't do it March 10, but I hope to make it later - thanks for suggesting it! There's a definite post-Olympic letdown going on here...

I have to work overtime that weekend so, believe it or not, Friday night works for me!
My shift ends at 7 so I'll get there shortly after 8.

I'll certainly do my best to get there. This was too much fun to stop just coz the 'real' Olympics ended. And who knows, I may even have finished my cardi by then. Maybe.

Ok, i can't find the article about the Knitting Olympics in the Saturday Edition of the globe & Mail. Can someone tell me WHERE in the glob it is?
i'm really hoping they run the story in the national editions, not only the Toronto version of the paper.

BTW - I was grousing to my b/f re: a sides-matching issue with my capelet, and he said: "Sounds like a job for Friday Pub Knit Squad."

Henceforth, I will, with glee, be referring to these get-togethers as FPKS.

I can picture the bad '70s t-shirt logo silhouette now.
